ABOUT US
《The New York Review》 is the first magazine dedicated exclusively to providing high school students all over the world with the opportunity to publish social science humanities papers, and literary works exclusively in English.
《The New York Review》 was conceived in early January 2022. At that time, the “North American Youth Elite Association” which was formed by some graduates from prestigious universities in the East and west of the United States, launched a vigorous publicity campaign to encourage young people of all races to participate in the voting and express the voice of voters.
In conducting propaganda activities, the members of “North American Youth Elites Association” member deeply feel that the high school students, both local and international, were very interested in the history, political science, economics, international relations, psychology, philosophy, British and American literature, the ancient Greek myth. They had a remarkable knowledge and understanding to such subjects. At the same time, these high school students had a strong passion for literary creation.
Members of the “North American Young Elite Association” came up with the idea of launching a new magazine for global high school students to publish their social and humanities papers and other literary and artistic works, with the aim of promoting academic and creative exchanges among high school students around the world.
Samuel Johnson once said, “an author will turn over half a library to produce one book.” Francis Bacon in 1625 said, “reading makes a full man, conference a ready man, and writing an exact man.” Writing academic papers and learning literary creation requires a lot of reading, careful research, and precise writing. And reading, research, writing, these three kinds of ability training, for young people's growth, to apply for university, to the future workplace, all play an irreplaceable important role. Learning to write a paper or composition in English is a great opportunity to learn and master English, especially for high school students from countries where English is not their first language.
High school students around the world, pick up your pen, write down your knowledge and perception, and actively contact us. We look forward to your works.
